Yoga & Sleep

Yoga & Sleep RetreatsLisnavagh Retreats

“I thought Pamela was a really gifted and excellent teacher. The different levels in the small group were seamlessly catered to and we all got a lot out of it. Margaret, 2015

Lisnavagh, House, Co. Carlow

2025 Retreat dates:

24-26 January – New Year retreat

March 23 – 15 – Equinox retreat

These special retreats allow you to stop. Leaving mundane activities to the side for the weekend allows you to find inner stillness and quiet, rest and recharge, and practice the positive habits that allow you to thrive in life.

Yoga, meditation and relaxation will help you to renew your confidence, let go of stress, and rest deeply. Private rooms, nourishing food, fresh country air and leisure time support the internal work that yoga provides.

Pam has led dozens of Yoga & Sleep retreats over the past decade. Her experience and gentle touch are and integral part of this deeply rejuvenating experience.
Retreats are open to all. Unlike a “workshop” weekend, these retreats allow beginners and skilled yogis to slow down and observe internal patterns.

I just wanted to say thank you again for a lovely weekend. I feel so rested! I really enjoyed Pam’s classes. The food was delicious. I will be back again at some point! — Ruth, Yoga & Sleep Retreat January 2019

I think its our 4th time here and it just keeps giving – fab as always – see you next year! — Phil Purdue, Yoga Sleep Retreat December 2017

Imbolc: Celebrating Brigid, Nature and the Renewal of Life

Day Retreat, Saturday 1 February, Lisnavagh House, Co. CarlowImbolc Spring Awakening

A day to celebrate women, sisterhood and the blessings of water and light. Bridget can be called upon to ignite the Eternal Spark of New Life, Inspiration, Healing and Protection.

This retreat will gently guide you to connect mind, matter and breath. Brigid’s wisdom and powers of healing will guide our awakening to the rhythms and patterns of Spring, the season of renewal and emergent life

Bridget ‘The High One’ a member of the Tuatha De Danann, the supernatural race of Kings, Queens, Druids, Bards, Heroes and Healers of pre–Christian Gaelic Ireland.

The Triple essence of the Goddess Bridget denotes the Maid, the Mother and the Wise One. The stories in Ireland of the Saint and the Goddess are so inextricably interwoven that it is hard to disconnect them; in the same way that Irish history and mythology are interwoven to create a rich tapestry that we can draw upon in ritual and prayer offering us practices of devotion to call upon as we walk Our Beautiful Land.

ONE TO ONE

ONE TO ONE

Traditionally, yoga was taught one to one to address specific needs of the individual, on that particular day, taking into account the time of life and physical capacity. By addressing your specific needs, private instruction helps you to develop your strength and confidence. Build and refine your practice organically and compassionately, with guidance.

Clients often join (or re-join) a group class when they are ready.

Private classes can be done online.

Tailored to your life, personal issues, and experience of yoga, one to one sessions can open you to new ideas and refine your current practice. Get in touch to find out more.

Learn

As a beginner who wishes to explore yoga in a private setting, or to work on a particular goal. Previous clients have chosen private lessons to improve their golf game, work gently with very stiff joints, strengthen a depleted immune system, and strengthen a weak physical structure that was
causing pain and fatigue.

Restore

If your priority is stress management, very gentle restorative techniques like relaxation practices, practices for specific womens’ issues, and more therapeutic applications are very beneficial. We will set up a simple practice you can do on your own to amplify the stress-reducing benefits that yoga brings. A private practice like this can also benefit from restorative workshops.

Refine

Those with yoga experience may wish to review, improve or learn more – whether it is to delve into a new pose, improve the rhythm of practice, or understand and prioritise the essentials for a well rounded personal practice tailored to your needs.

How it Works

Phone consultation: Free. We will discuss your needs and how to proceed.

Single 30 minute session: €40

Single 60 minute session: €65

Block of 4 sessions: €240, valid for 16 weeks from purchase.

At the beginning of each session we discuss your progress and make any changes needed to our plan. The goal is to help you work through your challenge and end up with a suitable practice for your progression or maintenance.
